The Carp Syndicate
The number of syndicate members is limited to 40 which is why you will find the banks uncrowded and experience a quiet, relaxed and secure environment whilst fishing.
The aim was for a syndicate of like minded, competent and experienced anglers who just love Carp angling, treasure the fish, the environment and who at the same time behave with respect and friendliness towards others.
The nine and half acre lake on which The Carp Syndicate operates, forms part of a 500 acre privately owned shooting estate.
The lake was dug in 1969 primarily for water sports but later was used more for Countryside Pursuits and Open Water Swimming for which it is still used today.
The lake lay untouched throughout the 90’s until I was privileged to have the opportunity to take over the management of it and setup the syndicate.
With just 11 swims on the lake it has a quiet intimate feel with plenty of available water in front each swim.
Due to the spread of disease ‘biosecurity’ is of paramount importance.
Protecting against viral disease, the spread of other fish parasites and ‘non-native’ aquatic plant and animal species.
Only the carp care equipment provided may be used.
Members are allocated an unhooking mat, a 42″ landing net, a flotation sling and a canvas water bucket to use when fishing. Included with each Unhooking mat is a Propolis carp care kit to treat our Carp.
